Frequently asked questions
Is Docbe really free?
Yes. Download it, pick any of the 30 free templates, build up to 10 projects with up to three pages each, and export without a watermark. Docbe Pro is optional and unlocks everything else.
Do exports have a watermark?
No — never. Exports are not gated on the free plan either. The PDF you export is the page you designed, and nothing else.
Which formats can I export?
Vector PDF (text stays sharp and selectable), Word (DOCX), HTML and images. You can also share a whole project as a .docbe file and open it on another device.
Does Docbe support Arabic and Urdu?
Yes, properly. Pages mirror right-to-left — columns, separators, charts and all — and every template has an Arabic sibling. The app itself runs in 11 languages.
How do I cancel or restore a subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Cancel any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. To restore on a new device, open Docbe's settings and tap Restore Purchases.
Does it work on Mac?
Yes. Docbe runs on Apple silicon Macs from the Mac App Store, with a layout tuned for the desktop, alongside iPhone and iPad.
What happens when I open a template link?
If Docbe is installed, the link opens that template inside the app. If not, you'll land on the App Store to download it first. Opening a template from a link needs Docbe 2.1 or later.
What is a .docbe file?
A complete project — pages, images, fonts and settings — packed into one file you can AirDrop, email or store in Files. Tap it on any device with Docbe to import it.
How do I delete a document, or get one back?
Deleted documents move to Recently Deleted and stay there for 10 days, so you can restore them. After that they're gone for good.
Can I use my own fonts?
Docbe ships 85 document fonts covering Latin, Cyrillic, Arabic and Urdu scripts. Custom font import isn't available yet.
Can I save my own templates?
Yes, with Docbe Pro. Save as Template — on a project card or in the editor — keeps a copy of the project under My Templates in the gallery, filed under a category you choose. Starting a new document from a saved template is free for everyone.
